The only reason Messi has a humble image is because he can’t speak English. He really fooled the world into thinking he’s some humble good boy, which led to more votes and more Ballon d’Ors 😂😂

Messi shots outside goal are always closer to the box 18. He has never scored a 40 yard goal like the GOAT, Christiano Ronaldo🐐 If I'm lying, prove me wrong with your evidence.

🚨 𝗖𝗥𝗔𝗭𝗬 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧: Cristiano Ronaldo is the ONLY Portuguese player in history to win THREE major trophies with the senior national team! 🇵🇹 He never lost a final while captaining his national team. Before him, Portugal had 0 trophies. With him as the leader? Three and counting. 🏆🏆🏆 The undisputed king who changed the history of Portugal. 🐐 (RM troll)

@Aveiro_dun That's difference btw Messi and Ronaldo. Everywhere Ronaldo went to after manutd, he was always the main striker. Messi's position has always been midfield and that's y he's been able to thrive by winning d most assists and most dribbles etc. He's just like a lampard of Chelsea

@ChrisSays01 But wait y are U guys so concerned about his world cup tho if truly it doesn't define Ronaldo's career?? Of which it doesn't actually the guy is also one of the GOATs in football so y would U want to scrap another person's achievement just for own man to be relevant?

This should be fun 🍿 One trophy gets erased from Ronaldo and Messi’s careers forever. Whose legacy takes the bigger hit ? My pick: ❌ Cristiano Ronaldo loses 1 Champions League ❌ Lionel Messi loses the 2022 World Cup Ronaldo still remains the undisputed GOAT. 🐐 What’s your take ?

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: A three-year investigation by historian Fiorenzo Santini, published by Globo, claims that Lionel Messi has Brazilian roots! 🇦🇷🇧🇷 According to the report, Messi's great-great-grandfather moved from Italy to Brazil in 1899 before the family later moved to Rosario, Argentina. While living in Brazil, the family's surname and some first names were changed. The report says there are no records of Messi's family staying in Brazil after they moved to Argentina. — @geglobo

Kylian Mbappe is the GOAT@Tezzathekchen·
21 year old Messi in his physical peak in a 1v1 big space dribble against Wayne Rooney Even in his physical peak, Messi’s big space dribbling was mid Anyone with mid big space dribbling can’t possibly be a GOAT level dribbler
Kylian Mbappe is the GOAT@Tezzathekchen

Messi was never a GOAT level dribbler btw His big space dribbling was always mid at best even in his younger days, and big space dribbling is 50% of dribbling He simply was never that great of a dribbling threat in transition

@ggmu4_ll @tweetcunha So how did Messi Robbed Wesley Sneijder in 2010 when he didn't even make the top 3? In Messi's turn, he robbed but in Ronaldo's turn, it's not Robbery. Even with the fact that Ronaldo won nothing that year. Stop being hypocritical

Delusional Messi fans will come out and say Messi won more laliga but what they won’t tell you is that Messi spent 17 years and Ronaldo spent just 9 years. Here’s the difference, during their stay, one conquered laliga, the other conquered the whole of Europe.

@appiecule Blind and bias people. The criteria has always been changed for Messi to win most of his ballon dor. Like why would he win ballon dor because he won a copa America his first trophy with the national team. Why would he win the ballon dor over van dijk who won a ucl that season.

The contradictions in the way some people discuss football history are astonishing. Take Pelé, for example. Everyone proudly says he won three World Cups, and rightly so. Yet no one brings up the fact that he missed the 1962 World Cup final through injury. Nobody tries to take that title away from him because the logic is simple: he was part of Brazil’s triumph, so the trophy belongs to him. But when it comes to Messi, the rules suddenly change. Some claim Barcelona’s 2006 Champions League doesn’t count because he missed the final. The issue isn’t Pelé or Messi—it’s changing the criteria depending on the player. The same applies to Maradona. He is one of the greatest players ever and led Argentina to World Cup glory, becoming a national hero. But he never won the Champions League or the Copa América, while Messi won the Copa América twice, won the Finalissima, the World Cup, and maintained an elite level for over two decades. That doesn’t diminish Maradona—it simply shows how complete Messi’s career has become. Cristiano Ronaldo’s case is another contradiction. For years, the World Cup was the ultimate argument used against Messi. The moment Messi won it, many suddenly reduced it to “just seven games.” If the World Cup was the biggest measure before 2022, why did it stop being one after Messi lifted the trophy? Then comes the excuse that Portugal has “no World Cup history.” But history isn’t inherited—it is created. Spain had never won a World Cup until the generation of Xavi and Iniesta changed that. Argentina’s greatest football legacy was built by players like Kempes and Maradona. The greatest players don’t wait for history—they write it. Messi didn’t become the greatest because he won the World Cup. By 2022, he already had multiple Ballon d’Ors, four Champions League titles, countless individual records, and was the all-time top scorer and assist provider for both Barcelona and Argentina. The World Cup wasn’t what made his legacy—it was simply the final missing piece. Pelé has achievements Cristiano doesn’t. Cristiano has achievements Pelé doesn’t. Messi is the only one who combines the strongest arguments from both sides. That’s why diminishing Messi’s career has become so difficult. Every criticism seems to require changing the rules, moving the goalposts, or creating new standards that only apply to him. That’s not a weakness in Messi’s legacy. It’s a weakness in the argument against it. 🐐❤️🇦🇷
