England won the tournament, and Woodman kept important clean sheets. 8. He later joined Preston North End permanently after impressing there on loan. 9. His father, Andy Woodman, is also a football coach and former goalkeeper. Woodman is known for being calm on the ball and good at saving penalties.

But apart from that, our attack was too quiet. Gakpo didn’t really threaten. Ekitike was almost invisible. Gravenberch kept losing the ball in dangerous areas. Mac Allister wasn’t as sharp as usual. Defensively, we looked open. Van Dijk wasn’t at his commanding best. The fullbacks pushed too high, we lost the ball, and Wolves punished us on the counter. Simple football. Alisson made some saves, but that second goal was frustrating. The real problem? We were too slow. Too many side passes. Not enough direct runs.
