@it_is_fareed @JohnyHelzapopin @judeinlondon This year I’ve had to decline an interview for an office job in central London because the shifts were 12 hours and the commute would have been 1.5-2hrs each way. I would actually be able to do that job if I lived in council housing in Zone 1/2.

KWAJO- Social Issues Campaigner
The discourse online about Social Housing over the last few days has highlighted the hugely misinformed and quite frankly rotten attitudes and stigma towards those living in social and in need of social housing. A stigma highlighted throughout the Grenfell enquiry.

@Emptins_Instnct @Kwajotweneboa the point is a great many people died because of profit before safety, knowing who let the flats wouldn't have stop the fire happening or 72 people dying horrific deaths

@Kwajotweneboa The authorities had no idea who was actually living in those properties because so many of them were illegally sublet We're sick of subsidising you Get ready to start paying market rates for housing

@anyotherleader1 @Kwajotweneboa @judeinlondon I mean I'm not siding with them but a lot of their anger is because they're stuck not being able to either afford a home or even rent one economically, not for the long term anyway - if we had more social housing this gross conversation wouldn't be happening

@Kwajotweneboa @judeinlondon The maddest thing is a lot of those people advocating for social cleansing of London and stigmatising quality of social homes now rent the exact same social houses but for 4 times as much off an American private equity firm. And for some reason they think that's more desirable

@AndyBurnhamGM @faisalislam we know that Andy, we're just confused about why you've spent so long in the Labour Party, including their last government, & you're only thinking to mention it now

he says “working side by side with business” Manchester has had the fastest growth And then “manchesterism is the end of neoliberalism” and trickle down economics against a backdrop of Oasis, James and Elbow…. [also three clips of supporters effectively saying he should be Prime Minister, which is rather unusual for a by election…]

So this means you expect every author to check every citation and make sure that every citation is real and accurate? What if it's beyond the ability of one of the authors to verify one of the citations because that citation is in a language he doesn't know or concerns technical material he doesn't understand but another author on the paper does?

@jmhorp oh yes, natures vacant lots, almost like Data centres are a continuation of something government ruined for profit then left to rot & people maybe don't want more of that but also with an increased loss of health, wellbeing and financial resources

@YorkshiremanDan yeh I think you may have found yourself with an ideological circle you can't square here. I'm not anywhere close to you on the political spectrum but you may have to accept you share your party support with a great many people whose hatred doesn't stop at immigrants

This angle of attack is astonishing frankly. I have a severely autistic brother in-law who is non-verbal and who even as an adult exhibits a lot of child-like behaviours. He deserves to receive help for his day to day. Many people have these issues to deal with. You actually want to have these people denied help and left to rot? Restore Britain is about the restoration of our people and their communities. That includes those who 100% need the help. We just have to make sure it's only those that need it that gets it.
Nigel Forrester@NigelForrester9

Restore have picked a pro-SEND candidate for Makerfield. Is there anyone now denying that these people aren’t misguided ideologues, but wreckers and grifters?
