@winexviv Making digital technologies a core subject is a powerful step forward. I'm curious to see what the curriculum will include - hopefully it ensures every student is introduced to at least one programming language. In today’s world, that’s as essential as reading and maths.

These are the subjects covered in the new Nigeria school curriculum. Currently, state ministries of education are reviewing the curriculum to see the applicability in each state. Once I get the manuscript I will share. We are making progress!

A while ago, one of my junior graduate students dropped by my office, exasperated they said, 'I don't know how to innovate! How do we come up with new ideas?!' I erased my whiteboard and started to list ideas, then I shared it on @X & got more ideas from my peer #professors. I hope this helps others!

I'm sorry. In the past, I often relied on schematic examples in my classes. Fake, sketched, illustrative demonstrations of the taught concepts. Now I mercilessly hunt down, remove and replace these with realistic, actual examples! Interesting data with codes available for students to try out and play with the source of every image, in every lecture! #Python changed my life!
