- Net zero migration - Ultra high quality migration, top graduates of the best universities in the world only - Re-industrialisation through robotics, AI and Nuclear energy - Increasing the birthrates through the same policies Israel and Mongolia have used plus some other policies that have proven to be successful - Building goddamn houses (minimum 3 bedrooms so people have space for kids) - Maybe build a new city too - Expand Medicare, focusing on prevention rather than cure + making physical education and fitness mandatory to graduate high school Idk that's just what I thought of off the top of my head I think this can be achieved democratically. A confident long term vision that brings in policies from both the left and right and no radical garbage

Had some Indian friends of a friend comment that because Australia is a Christian country, our doctors would prefer a woman go through natural childbirth than c-section. Surprising comment as Australia is barely 40% Christian and they're well educated so I thought they'd be aware of this

You would be shocked by how many Indians believe Western nations are Christian theocracies by default. They really do believe if you make a joke about Jesus in USA, you're going straight to jail for the rest of your life and are mad that doesn't happen in India.

Today I learned the people who make pure silicon are basically the Samurai sword makers and master blacksmiths of our era and that even if China gets Taiwan they wont be able to make chips anywhere near as good as the US can because we have the purest quartz in the world.

Sweden is choosing capitalism. Social spending as percentage of GDP is now 24%, lower than most of Northern Europe. Sweden has surpassed the US in billionaires per capita. School choice is universal, one in ten teens goes to a school operated by a company listed on the Stockholm stock exchange. Taxes have been cut three years in a row. Sweden has seen "more than 500 initial public offerings over the 10 years through 2024, more than Germany, France, the Netherlands and Spain combined" Nearly half of primary healthcare clinics are now privately owned. The result? Same as always. Sweden is projected to grow 2% a year through 2030, which is the same as the US and double France and Germany. How many times does this have to keep happening across the world? How many times does free market capitalism have to prove itself superior to socialism before the world accepts the truth?
