Saturday's PLUS Club was a great day of real-world skilling in engineering, physics & computer programming. Shout out to @ATU_GalwayCity for hosting & equipment, @bostonsci for industry expertise & content contributions + #TeenTurn alum (now #girlsinSTEM at uni) for mentoring!

A new rotation is a mixed reality session featuring holoanatomy! Skilling now for the jobs of the future is what PLUS club Saturdays are all about!

The science session is focussing on learning about light refraction --a core topic in physics--using Pepper's Ghost. Look at their faces!

And, as always, robotics -- particularly @VEXRoboticsIE -- is front and centre for our Saturday PLUS activities.

The computer programming room is tackling game design. The cute can be powerful, in games and in life!

Today's manufacturing engineering challenge is design in CAD a keychain and 3D print it!

Our Saturday PLUS club is on like donkey kong today! Starting the rotations with learning about fiber optics--crucial for modern communication, providing unparalleled speed, massive bandwidth, and superior security. This is what we do when not in school :)

Our campus ambassadors are promoting their university open days this week! Alum at UCC & UG, Caoimhe & Anna share here all to see as well as represent the diverse possibilities of studying STEM subjects in third level ranging from Microbiology to Film & Digital Media courses!

Our Saturday Super sessions are a great opportunity to connect--whether that conenction is making new friends for participants, networking for alum & industry volunteers, or building skills that correspond to real-world careers!

Much appreciated to @Genesys Galway for providing the space, time & volunteer expertise to help out our @technovation participants with their computer programming AND our alum club with writing up their CVs. This is what partnering to build a new talent pipeline looks like!

Our "new girls network" is going from strength to strength as former participants return during their university and early career years to share their expertise and give back what they themselves gained from extracurricular STEM learning. #IWD2026 #GiveToGain

Thanks to @WeAreTUDublin Tallaght for the computer lab use today. It's so important for our learners both to experience a university campus and have access to the equipment necessary to really get computer programming done.
