@StevePalazzolo_ Can't see the Packers drafting D'Angelo Ponds if he somehow falls to them. He doesn't meet their size threshold for corners. It won't likely matter because he'll likely be gone before 52 anyway.

@BookOfEli_NFL I'm low-key guarding myself for disappointment when they select a position like safety at 52. It would not shock me if the right player was there. Gannon used safeties a bunch in Arizona.

AJ Haulcy is one of my favorite DBs in this entire class...
That being said, drafting a safety at 52 would break my brain.

@kayla_rose4 He was the worst. I'm not sure if I dislike him or George Karl more. Probably Doc. And that's saying a lot considering Karl jettisoned Ray Allen out of town for a half season of Gary Payton.

@BookOfEli_NFL I liked him a lot, too. If there is a silver lining, he won't likely explode in Philly since he is quite clearly third on their WR pecking order. If he went to a WR-hungry team that chucks the ball around the yard, he might have blown up.

I'm not super disappointed in the compensation. Its more that I've always been a Wicks truther and hate that we gave up on him

They are getting a 2026 5th and a 2027 6th.
Honestly pretty disappointed with this kind of deal.

@BookOfEli_NFL Agreed, especially with so few premium picks to begin with. Think back to when Green Bay traded back to eventually draft Jayden Reed. They owned pick 45, and traded back to 48. Then, another trade back to 50. We added Reed, Wicks, and Brooks with those trades. Great process!

I just ran a bunch of mocks involving trades...
I think the #Packers are much better off trading back a few spots and picking up an extra 4th than moving up and sacrificing more picks.
Lot of good talent to be had in rounds 2-4. I want as many picks in that range as possible.

@kayla_rose4 Like most college basketball fans, I'm not a big fan of the transfer portal. But I do understand why a player like John Blackwell enters the portal. He probably won't carve out much of a career in the NBA, and he is likely to find more money from a new school.

@MarLaEF They're not just losing close games either. Ten losses by 25+ points is clearly grounds for dismissal. Then Doc has the audacity to say "this is not like we got blown out 40 games in a row."

@MarLaEF The NBA talkin' about the Bucks tanking because they're protecting their injured franchise player. But they should be talking more about the Bucks trotting Doc out there to coach losing basketball. It was time for a change ages ago.

Bucks coach Doc Rivers told reporters today was a pretty limited practice for his team with a lot of film work. When asked directly, Rivers said Giannis Antetokounmpo did not practice.

@Peter_Bukowski Completely understand if it's an immediate "no", but is there any chance Gutey rolls the dice with Henry Ruggs - if he becomes eligible and/or available? Might not be a bad flyer on the cheap, and Jacobs is a close friend.

I like Chris Brazzell II better than I liked Matthew Golden as a prospect, and if he's there at 52, he's a green light Packers type with size/speed and production.
(Some jumps and agilities at his pro day would be nice though).
