🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 In 1991 Ally McCoist gave the Scotland away kit ‘The Look.’ The internet in 2026 has given the new Adidas Scotland away kit exactly the same look. Felt only right to recreate the ‘91 poster - the home kit gets the polite nod, the away kit gets the full “Aye, that’s a belter.” Some things never change! @ScotlandNT @adidasfootball See the original poster in 🧵⬇️

Aberdeen fans travelling to Ibrox tomorrow in cars will NOT be able to park in the usual car park at the back of the Broomloan Road Stand. It’s now only for buses. Cars will have to find on street parking.

“I believe we have successfully brought football back to FIFA and FIFA back to football. And we have done so together.” The FA and the 210 other member associations of FIFA have received a letter from Gianni Infantino offering his “deepest thanks…for their work, dedication and unwavering support” on the 10th anniversary of his becoming FIFA president. He salutes “11 key achievements” in the decade of his rule including: “seven-fold” increase in funding to member associations; “more involvement in decision-making”; “more fairness on the field…thanks to the introduction of VAR”; “more playing opportunities” for men’s and women’s national teams with the expansion of both World Cups; and hailing the “historic” first ever Club World Cup. Infantino has done some good things – the Fifa Foundation, formed in 2018, does plenty of good – but there is no humility, no self-awareness, no mention of his mistakes, his love of the limelight and political leaders, his failure to fight issues such as the cost of attending the World Cup and increasing the workload on elite players (case in point, Cole Palmer). The game is about players and supporters not presidents. It’s a sport as well as a business. And that's being forgotten. Infantino was a respected lawyer and executive at Uefa before succeeding the disgraced Sepp Blatter at Fifa a decade ago. Infantino tells the associations that voting him into office helped FIFA on a path “built on reform, transparency and development”. Infantino adds, “FIFA is the glue that binds the footballing pyramid and the wider footballing ecosystem together. This is why a strong, trusted and unified FIFA is not only desirable, but also in fact necessary for our sport to continue to flourish." He thanks the associations "for keeping the best interests of football at heart and recognising that although we live in a world marked by division and conflict, football is still the great power that unites us all". If football's leader acquired some humility, the sport could become an even greater force for good.

@FIFAcom $600 to park a bus. Six hundred dollars. UEFA knew what the needed to do for 2028 and they have got it right. The quicker they set their sights on getting rid of this buffoon, the better

“I am flabbergasted. I’m just pissed.” In a Foxboro town hall, elected & unpaid locals (including a chiropractor by day) refuse to give FIFA a license to host games during the World Cup, as they stand firm over a $7.8m funding gap. Deadline: March 17. nytimes.com/athletic/70704…

Love how all the Scottish Twitter subcultures have put aside our rivalries to back up our Tourette’s guy who’s done nothing wrong. He’s also done what many of us could only of dreamed to do and shout FTQ in her face while getting an award. National hero 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
