@KCCAFC have themselves to blame. They became complacent after leading by two goals. They relaxed and @URAFC_Official capitalized on that.Their admin had even got the right pictures if they had won. Hard luck @KCCAFC . Meanwhile @URAFC_Official squad walk away with 500k each.

UBC Seeks Shs 32 Billion for AFCON 2027 Broadcast
The Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) has requested Shs 32 billion to facilitate the broadcasting and promotion of the AFCON 2027 tournament, which Uganda will co-host.
This was revealed during a meeting with the Parliamentary Committee on ICT, where members emphasized the need for the Ministry of Finance to adequately fund key agencies under the ICT sector. These include the Uganda Communications Commission and NITA-Uganda, to ensure effective delivery of their mandates ahead of the continental tournament.
While presenting the Ministry’s response, Dr. Amina Zawedde, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, stated that the funds will cover broadcasting rights, advertising and promotion across UBC platforms, content production, and signal distribution through Signet, among others.
According to the statement that was read by the Permanent Secretary, UBC projects to generate approximately Shs 2 billion in revenue from the tournament.
Uganda is among the East African nations preparing to host the AFCON 2027, with investments expected across multiple sectors including sports infrastructure, ICT, hospitality, and transport.
