Currently there's a misleading community note on this. Yes, you can buy Steam keys off Steam. ONCE YOU OWN A GAME, Steam forces developers to use Steam payments for all in-game purchases and pay 30%. This is the practice courts found illegal for Apple and Google.

@AmericaFirstAF @Pirat_Nation All the actual performance increases didn't come from that, which only effected hub FPS and stutter. Nothing while actually on hunts. They threw in that fix as a bonus since it was brought to their attention.

@MHFZZEnjoyer How it feels to enjoy all of these games and still go back to previous entries and have fun as well. MH hasn't had a lackluster release since the original Tri. Okay you can count base Rise but covid and they did patch in the missing monsters pretty fast.

@MHFZZEnjoyer Since MH 3, it has this trend of "streamlining" the combat and gameplay. I started with World and went back to play FU, 3U, 4U. Don't get me wrong, monsters in each end games are equally difficult but combat does feel like it is becoming arcadey since then. I like all of them.
