@ArcSadam Even if he saves his salary without spending a penny,800k x 15=12M…this story na lie
English

My husband earns around 800k every month. Out of that, he gives me 200k for feeding and running the house, 60k for the children’s school needs, and another 100k for light bills, medicine, and little unexpected expenses. In total, about 360k comes into the home monthly, while he keeps the rest.
Recently, I became curious about our finances and asked him how much he had saved over the years, but he avoided the conversation. Later, I checked and discovered he had about 14M saved. Honestly, after more than three years of work and all the sacrifices we’ve made as a family, I expected it to be much more.
What confused me most is that my husband is not someone who spends recklessly. He eats at home most of the time, only buys lunch occasionally at work, and aside from helping family members once in a while and paying the children’s school fees, there’s nothing extravagant he does.
When I asked him calmly to explain how the savings were only 14M, the conversation turned into an argument. Instead of answering me, he started bringing up my own salary and asking whether he had ever questioned the money in my account. Since then, the house has been tense and silent.
This morning, he even said if I’m unhappy, I’m free to leave the marriage because he will never discuss his money with me.
Now I’m honestly confused. Is it wrong for a wife to want transparency about the future of her family? Or did I overstep boundaries by checking his account and questioning his savings?

The African Democratic Congress is deeply concerned about the continued detention of Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai and his deteriorating health condition, following reports from his family alleging denial of medical access, restriction of food delivery, and disregard for a court order granting him access to his doctors. These reports, if true, represent a dangerous assault on his dignity, health, and constitutional rights.
What is happening to Mallam El-Rufai confirms beyond all doubt that this detention is no longer about justice, it is about politics. It also confirms our fears that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deploying the instruments of state power to keep one of the leading opposition figures out of circulation. This is political persecution dressed up as prosecution.
When placed beside other high-profile cases, the contrast becomes stark and shameful. Yahaya Bello, former Governor of Kogi State, has been accused in an alleged N80.2 billion money laundering case. Ifeanyi Okowa, former Governor of Delta State, was arrested over the alleged diversion of N1.3 trillion in derivation funds. But today, they are walking around free, singing President Tinubu’s campaign song.
Mallam El-Rufai was first detained in February after he voluntarily offered himself for investigation and trial. He was later arraigned after weeks in custody and granted bail in April. Yet, the government has contrived to keep him in detention perpetually.
We state clearly: Mallam Nasir El-Rufai is President Bola Tinubu’s political prisoner. This alone brings the President’s democratic credentials into disrepute.
President Tinubu cannot continue to masquerade as a democrat while presiding over the weaponisation of security and anti-corruption agencies against political opponents. Nigeria is not under a dictatorship. Therefore, compliance with the rule of law cannot be subject to presidential discretion.
The ADC therefore puts President Tinubu, the ICPC, the EFCC, and all relevant security agencies on notice: they will be held responsible for any deterioration in Mallam El-Rufai’s health or any further violation of his rights.
The African Democratic Congress has put in motion mechanisms, through every lawful means available locally, nationally, continentally, and internationally, to secure the release of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, who, by every practical definition, has become a political prisoner in Nigeria.

Her boyfriend broke up with her… simply because she called Frank Edoho’s wife a “Woman Leader.” 😳
One innocent comment, one shattered relationship. In this era of celebrity drama, even a harmless title can cost you everything.
Moral of the story: Choose your words wisely, especially when it comes to people’s exes.

Just Imagine the humiliation,
if Peter Obi was slightly corrupt in his tenure as a Governor of Anambra state.
All hell would be let loose,
I can't even imagine how unbearable his torture would have been.
Emefiele sufferings would have been a childs play.
A good name is better, than riches.
But, have the both.
