@tekkenUlsan If you win twice against other players that can reduce the randomness the most, you're just the best. In Poker you also have randomness of the cards. A good player is able to reduce the randomness and win consistently, sometimes even with gambles. That's skill. You have skill.

A lot of people say they just got lucky when they win, and unlucky when they lose. I’ve won EWC twice, and i said lucky it’s not because I’m humble genuinely felt like I was really lucky I want to be able to say, that I’m the best when I win. Thats why i want Tekken change soon🙏

@Shredder8267 The restaurant I work at has honestly gotten worse. Should I lie just to make new people like it? Is that really the right thing to do?

It’s hard to be a player though, with the pillars of the community and everyone else telling you it’s bad. Imagine a restaurant in your town. And everyone says it’s awful EVEN THE RESTAURANT STAFF. Are you inclined to go try this? Ppl painted an awful picture. Most ppl are sheep. They will follow. And they are going to believe someone else. There were dudes saying “I didn’t try tekken 8 S2, but hopefully they can get it back on track. “ didn’t even play it but have their opinion. 😂 Tekken 8 is like mortal kombat x. mkx was a fast paced, aggressive 50/50 grab restand from combos into more 50/50’s Etc. I am not new to tekken 8’s gameplay. lol bc I was in wars years ago with the same game style. I enjoy the fast paced adrenaline filled gameplay. I can understand most tekken players like more methodical defense. But I still see strong defense. I just feel you have to think quicker. Make your decisions quicker. Or get ran over bc you thought to long. This actually helps your reactions. They said reacting to an OH or a low in mkx was the equivalent to reactive to a 98 MPH fast ball in the major leagues. I’m sure the final reason they wanted to speed the game up, would be to get through tournaments. Those tourneys were running long. Hopefully they can make some changes for you guys. Sucks to see all the doom. When you enjoy something. Bc that means what I enjoy might be on the chopping block. I’m just excited to try a kangaroo and bob out soon.

If Tekken is to be loved again, I believe the answer is very simple: High risk, high return. Low risk, low return. It’s such a simple concept, but I don’t think it works in tekken8. i just hope all players don’t end up feeling frustrated or unfairly treated and leave Anymore😓

@TheUninvited444 even I feel like it’s not something to be proud of, just that I got lucky. That’s the kind of balance and system we have right now.

@Shredder8267 I think it was successful at grabbing people's interest at first. But Tekken 8 is now in its third year… we can’t treat it the same as back then. Looking at the current sales and player base, most of the people who started with Tekken 8 have already left lol

Well obviously you’re one of the goats, Ulsan. I have the utmost respect for you, my lord. Those 99 are probably only tekken players. I’ve played 10-15 fighting games. We know how the tekken players feel. I was saying newer players may have been intrigued. I know, I am. I’d say I’m a higher lvl fighting game player than most. I understand tekken only players, seeing their game and not liking changes. I also see how, before patch is in Their hands. It seems like everyone gets together and starts hating. I search for Tekken 8 stuff s3, just to learn. And instead of getting info. I get doom. And tekken8s finished. Blah blah blah. You guys can literally make a one minute video showing the new moves. And it’s new content. Yet we’d rather put the casket in the background with tekken laying in it. How inspiring! And now we gotta wait even longer for more DLC bc you guys keep making them circle back. Pretty sure we’d already have new characters. But we have to wait for that. You aren’t even looking at their full vision of Tekken 8. Won’t even let them finish it. I understand not liking the idea of it. But an aggressive tekken is sick to me. I’m very unhappy with mk1. And don’t play mk anymore. So I know how it feels for a game I love, to miss. Just know that there are players out there, who do enjoy this game. You guys are operating out of a belief that Tekken can’t fail. But what if, some how we don’t get Tekken 9. Bc of s2 and s3 driving away what should’ve been new players? Maybe it’s the devs. Maybe it was the backlash. I’m a player who actually was bored at the end of s1. S2 gave me a new life. the most creative combos, and all these new moves. Strings to cancel into more pressure. Xiaoyu is really fun bc if this, and I just got more stuff that helps my game plan. Every character I pick up, has new stuff to learn. Idk it all feels new to me. Which is great. I get bored quickly doing the same thing. I’m in a character crisis. Bc I will be playing. And someone does something so cool. That I’m in the practice mode, learning a new character. I’m inspired to play every character. Bc they all do so many cool things. Well I’m about to go play. And since I picked up law and Lidia. What am I supposed to do? lol finding s3 info is like looking for a needle in the hay stack. I don’t think you will bring new players in, by making. Tekken more like Tekken is all. Lots of the changes even in s2 could’ve had more of an appeal if it had been liked by our content creators. The new moves and all was def hype. And could’ve made others go, I wonder what tha game is like. Tekken players want them removed. I played Steve bc of s2. But don’t know what I lost bc I’m never played him before t8 s2. The fist of fury move is why I played him. That dude jumping through Korea bc of jack 8, made me play jack. I can’t stand that character! It’s fun doing badass stuff. Idk why everyone wants to be powerless and weak. I’d rather feel my power. I also know that at the highest lvl you guys are like robots. I’m tekken king. Which prob coulda been higher but I always play 10 diff characters. It feels like I’m tested every game. And just very engaging gameplay to me.

I don’t miss Tekken 7. I miss what it felt like. Beating players like Knee, Arslan Ash that best of best players used to mean something. It felt like pure skill overcoming that time Now, when top players lose, it’s still shocking but it doesn’t feel special anymore.

Well.. I’ve made it out of pools at evo for mkx. Not a total noob player. I’ve played since Tekken 4. I still like the changes. lol my characters all have new ways to play. New stuff to do. New pressure. Idk why we want to be weak. I still will say even when they get better. They won’t see the game how you do. You guys are mad that suddenly a character isn’t weak to side step left anymore. lol well what new stuff was introduced? I’d rather have the new moves and I see parts of this community saying we need to remove them and even not add new moves. lol talk about boring.

No high lisk move with 124 damage is crazy

@resonmon If damage is good should be defense option is not good If defense option is good attack option should be not good But now all too good

@tekkenUlsan Or they at least can make characters to have different HP numbers. For example Lidia can stay completely same her combo damage, her frames etc.. but she has lower than average HP compare to rest of the cast for example. Ofc this needs fine tuning for every single character

@tekkenUlsan Hi USLAN, no safe move should launch. There could be other alternatives like guaranteed damage, but for example I really hate safe df2s (Yoshi, Paul, Asuka).

Well, when something like s2.. shows up and could’ve brought bunch of new players. All the tekken community was kicking and screaming. I come from multiple fighting games. Tekken 8 is now my fav. Your community made it seem unappealing. Even s3, I can’t wait to get on and learn more. Yet we got the same hate. The game is really fun to me. Sry you guys don’t like it. Many newer players and other fight game players would’ve been hooked. They were told not to try it. Tekken only players, who don’t want changes. Don’t like it.
