@_benjvmins_ I don’t understand why 2 things can’t coexist. Lightskin ppl can & do benefit systematically from colorism. That doesn’t mean they don’t experience bullying from the black community. It’s the societal preference of lighter skin ppl that fuels the harassment coming from within

The majority of my real life friends outside of family, I met at work. We stayed in touch after jobs changed cause we had other things in common Bsides wrk. There is a plus side. Especially with community building at an all time low
