I don't see the problem here. Mom's want their sons to be normal, to not want to oppress women anymore than they already are. Is it really so shocking that moms, you know, women, want their sons to not be straight, patriarchal assholes? This is progress and I say it needs to even go further. There isn't enough being done in public schools to help teach boys and kids that lgbtq people exists and that's OK. I advocate for mandatory classes, at least two per week on this exact subject. I really can't think of a more important use of tax dollars outside of giving more snap benefits to people who need it.

@temichael @1Nicdar They switched identities. The Republican Party WAS the party that freed the slaves and authored 3 Amendments to the Constitution. Democrats WERE the party of slavery and racism. As of Reagan's term in office, Republicans became the party of racism and Democrats were no longer.

@temichael @1Nicdar Again, the switch-over was a much lengthier process than that. The walk-out of Southern Congressmen DID occur, but it happened in response to Truman's 1948 convention, where he made it clear that he was pro-Civil Rights. History occurs gradually and inconsistently.
