@MindWisdomMoney It’s been that way for a while. I just figured I’m not interesting enough to the algorithm or the people.

In the last 30 days, far too many Black women have been taken from us—by husbands, by exes, by sons. And these are just some. Can you imagine the amount of others? And while headlines and their abusers reduce them to victims… we refuse to let their stories end there.

illustrations, dialogue, eye witness accounts (where applicable), and the unfiltered truth about what happened in their mind, body and nervous system. “A girl ain’t safe in a family of mens” is NOT enough. It simply isn’t. 🕊️

Someone in the bloodline continued the manner, or put an end to it. The more I dig into the “Narratives of Slaves,” I can’t unsee what they’ve seen. I can’t unhear what they’ve heard. As it was then, many could not let go of the idea, and held onto it until death intervened.🕊️

I’ve had to synthesize this reality that we live in into 3 categories: 1. Descendants of slaveholders. 2. Descendants of the enslaved. 3. Descendants of freedom. I view the behaviors, actions, and thoughts of males through these lenses. For me, it simplifies the answers. ⚖️
