On a flight from Lagos to Abuja... The well-dressed man beside me kept glancing at my open Bible. After takeoff he finally spoke: “I left church 10 years ago. Life got busy… then painful.” For the next two hours we talked. I shared how I hit rock bottom in 2022 and how Jesus met me there. By the time we landed, tears were rolling down his cheeks. Right there in seat 12A he gave his life back to Christ. We exchanged numbers. Today he’s active in Bible study and even invited me to his rededication service. Never underestimate a random flight seat. God can turn 55 minutes of turbulence into a divine appointment that changes someone’s eternity.

Soon you will realise it was all in your favour.

Make the declarations God has given you. Deliver the messages he has entrusted to you. Resist the territorial forces at work - say "No". This season is about specificity not generalisation. God is depending on you. You are the custodians of Nigeria. God entrusted her to you. Do your work. Kings cannot be overwhelmed. They must lead.

This morning, when I wanted to pray, it felt dragged and dry. Even as I spoke in tongues, there was no resonance in my spirit. So, I went back to lie on my bed, thinking I might study or “meditate on what’s happening.” While on the bed, something happened, Rev’d Rasine’s recent tweet came to mind: Force yourself to pray because the flesh hates it; it’s a war you must win. I got up and prayed. Why am I sharing this? Because Twitter influences your life more than you think, especially as a believer. The things others tweet affect you, and the things you tweet affect other believers, for good or for bad. This is why I take what goes out from my page seriously. Jesus will hold us accountable for what our words, yes, even tweets, do to His flock. So, if you tweet, make sure your words edify and benefit the hearers, just as Paul says. Jesus will judge us for every careless word, including what we post online. Let’s abstain from gossip, lies, slander, corrupt talk, obscene words, and vulgar language. Instead, let’s speak with grace and love, so our words build up those who hear them. One tweet from a man of God helped me today, and Jesus will reward him for that. Be like that—let the Holy Spirit use your tweets to help another believer in their time of need. May God help you. Amen.
