Frankly, EU itself is economically and in terms of security better than NATO, and EU will only benefit from having Ukraine as a member. @templar1977 Slovenija je najveći izvoznik. Čak nas je i Srbija prešla. Oni imaju jaču industrijsku bazu. Mi smo nešto jači od Srbije ako uzmemo u obzir i Izvoz usluga (turizam) ali kad gledamo klasični izvoz roba/industrija...i Slovenija i Srbija su jače od nas.

Ne živimo bolje zato što smo produktivniji, nego zato što rasprodajemo ono što su generacije prije nas stvorile. To nije napredak nego odgođeni pad. Nekad smo bili industrijska i tehnološka nacija. Gradili smo tvornice, izvozili znanje i bili dio svjetskog vrha. Danas? Rasprodajemo obalu, živimo od rente i slavimo sezonske uspjehe kao da su strategija razvoja. Od zemlje koja je dala Nikolu Teslu do toga da nam je vrhunac ekonomije konoba i “celebrity chef”. Turizam nije problem — ali kad postane jedino što imamo, to više nije prednost nego slabost. Danas, kad imamo rekordan broj gostiju i rekordan broj noćenja, državni proračun završi svejedno par posto u minusu. Deficit za deficitom. Za vrijeme COVID-a i lošije sezone bila je panika, sad zamislite što bi se dogodilo da nam propadnu samo dvije turističke sezone?

@CroFriedman RH poduzetnici su nesposobni proizvest konkurentnu hranu (pa uvozimo), proizvest brod, tehnologiju, prozore (instalacija je max), uredjaje za grijanje/hladjenje, hladnjak, namjestaj, robu, ISTA. Cast izuzecima koji postoje, ali ih ima jako malo.

🇪🇺 The EU will hold its first large-scale exercise to activate a mechanism for mutual assistance in the event of armed aggression against a member state — Bloomberg. According to a senior EU official, the exercise will simulate the decision-making process if a member state turns to the rest of the EU for military support. The simulation will take place first at the level of ambassadors in Brussels, and then during a meeting of defense ministers in Cyprus in May. The issues are also planned to be discussed at an informal summit of leaders next week. The aim of the exercises is to work out Article 42.7 of the EU Treaty, which obliges the bloc's countries to provide assistance "by all possible means" in the event of an attack on the territory of one of the members. This wording is considered legally stricter than Article 5 of the NATO charter, which provides only for actions that allies "deem necessary."

Crnu Goru zbog novonastale geopolitičke situacije treba po hitnom postupku primiti u Europsku uniju. To bi bilo od velikog značaja za stabilnost Crne gore, ali i cijele regije. Ovo bi bila i poruka regionalnim euroskepticima da Europska unija nema ozbiljnu alternativu. 🇪🇺

"Europe" wasn't. England, Spain, Holland, Portugal, Germany were, and competed with each other, but those countries had a huge technological edge over the rest of the "known" world, so a relatively small country could be a "great power". That edge is gone. No one European country can be a "great power" now. They're too small. "Europe" as a whole can, but they'd have to unite under one leadership.

@templar1977 @Franezeravica Netočno. On traži suživot religija a ne obitelji. Kakav suživot sa onima koji ne priznaju Isusa kao Božijeg sina i traži ubijanje pripadnika drugih religija. Sa takvima nema suživota niti kad su rođeni na EU tlu kao u BiH.

@Franezeravica Koju zemlju ? Ta zemlja je bila židovska kod rađanja kršćanstva. I zato Jeruzalem treba biti dvoreligijski grad. Islam tu nema što tražiti. Njihov izvor je u Meki i Medini.
