@tengyteng @blueontheradio @imadeAoT Yall still debating this? Lol Both are awesome animes and everyone has their opinions about several animes. Ratings is just one way to judge anime but it’s all anecdotal and doesn’t require putting another down to lift one up. Point is, we all love anime here

The reason why op survived was because of the drama which oda builds and deliver tear jerking scenes. This made the fans loyal and follow it even if the product was worse than mud.

@tengyteng @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT What OP did is kind of unique. There's no anime out there which have battles as one important part while having shitty animation and pacing for 900 episodes and still maintained and infact grew the fan following from 1999 to 2019 until Wano started.

@blueontheradio @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT I'll tell you what I feel. I feel this anime survived mainly because of how long it was. No anime can achieve this if it was short. Just look at one punch man. Season 3 animation was trash. But we'll forget about that in let's start say the next 4-5 seasons. You get my point?

@tengyteng @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT I never said it but I do have my fair share of doubts if other animes can do it or not because it's incredibly hard to maintain a fan following while having so many episodes with such poor pacing and artwork. This should be pretty natural doubt or a concern.

@blueontheradio @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT I get but what I'm saying is because the people who made the anime didn't place importance on animation or knew but simply ignored it and the anime still survived it doesn't mean we should undermine what AOT did. By the way, those things are the producing team anyways.

@blueontheradio @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT You also forget the period in which it was released. Naruto also had bad animation at the beginning man you don't see anyone complaining about that. I can even argue Naruto's animation isn't good for most part of the anime

@tengyteng @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT The same can't be said about OP as the new generation likes to watch quick and beautiful content but OP only has few episodes within that level so obviously it impacts the popularity by alot.

@blueontheradio @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT Why don't we talk about one piece fans and other anime fans review bombing AOT and it still has an unbelievable rating. It's like you don't realize how heavily review bombed that anime was. In the top 10 of most reviews bombed episodes in history. AOT has 9 out of 10 episodes.

@blueontheradio @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT AOT came and gave us 84 peak episodes over a period of about 11 years. They did what has never been done in anime history or any history at all. If you can't accept that just leave it man. All the excuses you are giving are all producer fault and shouldn't be used as excuses.

@blueontheradio @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT What the heck are you saying. AOT didn't have good animation at the beginning of the anime man, it just had a very unique animation style which is props to the animation team.

@tengyteng @Bspectiv3 @imadeAoT Better animation brings out a lot more viewers and helps the show with popularity and that is already been proven through Demon Slayer. I don't know what you're smoking but AOT won't be as famous as it now without WIT helping with the pace and animation.
