@gece1502 i mean why would wuwa be competition to Genshin? it's genshin folks who think Wuwa is a competition but in reality wuwa is way above genshin in terms of quality. All genshin has is Teyvat lore.. wuwa excels at everything including crafting a unique lore for Solaris 3.

WuWa/E33/BMW/HZD aren't "Realistic" they have a less "cartoony" style
A "Realistic" Style is RDR/RDR2, CP2077, Modern RE, hell even the MW series in their Remakes

im so glad this was said. i see so many genshin haters spit on the game for "trash visuals" simply because it doesn't pursue ultra realism like most games, but its warm and bright atmosphere is what makes genshin so unique & beautiful imo!!

@PixieClasher @shu96hz Yeah, it's the same here, just took a little more time. Pipeline upgrade started being experimented during Natlan, they are now able to implement more consistent mocap and facial rigs onto dialogues during Nodkrai. As well as noticeable visual upgrade on models.

They didn't ship everything at once either. Noticeable model difference started from Luna Oblivion. The other optimizations are still being implemented.
Not doing any upgrades is just lazy

Regardless, from the beginning I just wanted to point out how pgr took 6 years for it to happen (even if it is incrementally), so an open world shouldn't be underestimated.

@PixieClasher @shu96hz It's easier said than done especially on a much smaller scale. Imagine building a new airplane to replace another one mid-flight which is also getting upgrades by itself while training the current onboarding pilots to use the newly replaced airplane.

All the core programmers are already alloted to main branch.
The updates can be done on another branch incrementally by the new dev they hire. It doesn't need to happen in one patch. Even PGR has been doing for 8-9..
