Terminus Industrials is hiring a founding Head of Product Engineering (Large Power Transformers) in the Austin metropolitan area.
We are building America's first end-to-end automated large power transformer manufacturing platform, from product design, engineering, and PLM through manufacturing, testing, and shipment, to restore domestic manufacturing capacity for one of the nation's most critical pieces of grid infrastructure.
This is a rare greenfield opportunity. You'll have the opportunity to architect our transformer product line, establish our engineering standards, and help build an advanced manufacturing operation from the ground up.
You'll be joining a team that already includes manufacturing leaders from Tesla and DuPont (Shane Osterbind - CMRP, CPIM, MBB, Head of Manufacturing), software engineering leaders (Andrew O'Brien, CTO, formerly Wolfram, Ford Motor Company), and utility-scale power and infrastructure experts (Bridget Youngs, CEO + Founder, formerly DOGE, VP @ New Energy Capital, and Evercore) - along with many other exceptional teammates.
We're seeking someone with deep, hands-on experience designing and manufacturing large power transformers. If you've built LPTs at Hitachi Energy, Siemens Energy, Virginia Transformer, Pennsylvania Transformer, Prolec GE, WEG, or a similar organization, we'd love to talk.
