It's been a little over a month since I came out to my dad, and the man continues to amaze me everyday with his empathy and unwavering love for me. How was I so wrong about my parents in such completely different ways? 😭

Came out to my 70 yo dad last night and he had the sweetest reaction ever. He said he's not as old fashioned as I think & would never interfere in my life. He even apologised for ever asking me to get married cos he didn't know. I'd be on the floor crying if I wasn't so shocked.
