To clarify: I wasn’t calling anyone a “fake citizen” because they’re from Puerto Rico. I live in Puerto Rico, and I love Puerto Rico. I have used my platform to support Puerto Rico time and time again and will always do so. But if you’re publicly criticizing ICE who are doing their job and openly hating on America, I’m going to speak on it. Period. That’s the same reason I called out Hunter Hess. If you benefit from a country and the platform it gives you, but publicly disrespect it at the same time, that’s what I mean by being a fake citizen. And I agree love is more powerful than hate. Love America.

My parents were poor and made their own wealth. Both my parents coal miners from poor Kentucky families. Instead of keeping the black community down acting like the world owes them something… anyone can have anything in the world with effort and determination. It only keeps the black community down doing that. It only takes one generation to create generational wealth.

Who said all… not acknowledging that it happened is stupid and disingenuous. Pretending that everything in this country is perfect is too. Africans sold prisoners of their land and then was forced after they had no more to leverage. The mass killings of the Transatlantic Slave Trade is one the worst human events in history and the Civil Rights era was 55 years ago. Please. That’s America too. I can be proud of my ancestors while also acknowledging their pain simultaneously and you cannot tell those who are the aftermath of that history how to react to that truth. No, the way to end racism is acknowledge the truth and find ways to resolve the disenfranchisement.

Bad people do bad shit all the time. Was some white people bad throughout history? Sure. Does this mean we crucify all white people? Hell no. White people literally bought slaves from black Africans. Why are you not holding them accountable? Just play the race card against white people instead of your own. Black history is literally tainted as much as white history. But we should all rejoice in our history and be proud of who we are and the progress we have made as a society. The only way racism ever ends is when we stop breeding racism. Stop seeing color in everything. I could care less that you are black in means zero to me.

Like I said… prove the generational wealth… “Nothing is racist if you don’t want it to be” might be the most asinine thing I’ve ever responded to because that’s not how that works. Color exist because this country has acknowledged that it means something when you are “colored” so you trying to acknowledge traditional American values without acknowledging its cultural crimes against black people is disingenuous as fuck.

You don’t know the salaries and resumes of people you are talking to along with their generational wealth. I’m not doing the race bait game. Nothing is racist if you don’t want it to be. And everything is racist if you want it to be. I never refer to my black friends as “black” they are just my dudes. Color doesn’t exist unless you want it to.
