@numfuksteinstan I think that what this is revealing, if anything, is that there are a lot more people than we would've previously thought that hold the opinion that violence can be a legitimate response to moral depravity.

I personally think food should be looked at more for examining culture: we quite literally are what we eat! It's an interesting, unique avenue to talk about cultural differences, and it is a very direct way to do so.

All in all, this was a very fun, quick read.
It is very odd to see just how different states were in the early 1900s just from a street level perspective. Regions of the U.S. were kind of treated as separate ethnicities, and you can very clearly see this in food.

IMO the 20th century ended in 1991 with the fall of the Soviet Union by vibes. Everything since then has had 21st century vibes.

@quinnthegm he doesn't have the physicality of a good actor. not enough expressiveness in the face. he'd be a fantastic voice actor bc his voice has all the emotional expression his face & body lacks... but in something live-action, you can't run on voice alone.

David Lynch wanted Forster for the sheriff in Twin Peaks, but he was committed to another pilot. Then he wanted him for the Mulholland Dr series, but it never happened. (He's briefly in the film.) Forster was stunned when Lynch later called to offer a big role in the TP sequel.

Whenever people tweet bad jokes or a dunk, it is because they have ran out of things to tweet about. I believe this with 100% sincerity because I have done this.
