The students came ready with thoughtful questions and plenty of energy. It was encouraging to see how interested they were in understanding how decisions are made and how they can shape the future around them.

Constituency weeks are one of the best parts of the parliamentary schedule. It’s a chance to get out into the community and connect directly with constituents. One of the highlights was visiting a Grade 5 class in North Burnaby talking about Parliament and the federal government.

Congratulations to this year’s CJPAC Impact Award recipient, Lana Marks Pulver. Thank you to the organizers for bringing together community leaders and elected officials from every level of government for such a meaningful evening.
