@ctvottawa & still 0 presence in Barrhaven, Riverside South & Findlay Creek. Erratic drivers haven! Red lights, Stop signs, turning left on a green in front of traffic, speed limits, 100% optional. Commercial vehicles... dump trucks worst offenders. They are going to kill someone!

@StuntmanStu I drive truck for a living and I can see in their vehicles and I see alot of texting and driving of all ages and gender.

@SteveDesroches @CouncillorMcRae Forcing trucks to the bridge to avoid "not in my backyard" Manotick would be disastrous! It would also be helpful if the "bus lane" on the Vimy Bridge was being respected by motorists, including truckers! OPS needs to spend some time there.

@Avgeek_Jan @Delta A cup of coffee or tea on an early a.m. flight is not a ridiculous expectation given the $$$ to fly. Cut backs since 9/11 are ridiculous and only for Airline Shareholders. Passenger comfort means nothing. Mutual loyalty...what is that? Nonexistent from corps!

🔴 @Delta is cutting in-flight service on 450 daily flights starting May 19, and frequent flyers are NOT happy about it. From that date, any flight under 350 miles in economy will get zero service. Nothing. Not even water. That covers a lot of routes people fly every single week for work. The old system had an express service on flights of 251 to 499 miles, which was coffee, tea, or water. That is now gone entirely for shorter hops. Now, to be fair, there is a flip side. Around 600 daily flights in the 350 to 499 mile range are actually getting upgraded from express to full beverage service. So more people overall will get a proper drink cart. First class keeps full service across the board regardless of distance. #Delta #DeltaAirLines #Aviation

@ctvottawa The parents driving vehicles are the biggest danger in School Zones. Double parking, parking in No Stopping Zones and bus loading zones, blocking bus loading zones, making U turns (often right at the No U Turn signs), ignoring Stop signs and speeding!

The aviation industry is an English speaking industry There is no person in this industry working in any key role that is not competent in english. There is a good reason for this, it’s called safety. So, no the CEO does not need French, it’s a luxury ONLY demanded in Canada.

@sheilawalker73 True, BUT, the family of the pilot only speaks FR. AC is mandated to provide services in both. The flight had some only FR speaking pass. It's just decency to the family of the deceased!
