Ik betreur het lot van mijn land. Ik betreur haar kinderen, die nooit zullen weten hoe mooi het was. Die nooit zullen weten wat het is om bij elkaar te horen. Zonder het uit te spreken. Dat land van tegenwind en slagregens. Waar je overal een beetje thuis was. Al was je nog zo ver. Dat land. Tussen de weiden of de grachten. De koeien en het strand. Wee mijn verraden land. En hen die het is ontnomen. Te oud zich te verweren. Van de mensen die het bouwden. Die het wonnen van de zee. Die er generaties lang hun akkers ploegden. 🇬🇧🇷🇺 A Russian military aircraft intercepted a British RAF Rivet Joint spy plane over the Black Sea, flying within six metres of the surveillance aircraft and triggering its onboard emergency systems, according to the UK Ministry of Defence. The British, naturally, described it as "dangerous and reckless" while also confirming the crew "completed their mission safely, the plane landed without incident, and nobody was hurt." The MoD also helpfully reminded everyone that the Rivet Joint is a "specialist reconnaissance aircraft equipped with advanced electronic surveillance sensors" - essentially admitting they were running an intelligence collection operation on Russia's doorstep and are upset Russia reacted.

NATO incrementalism: First they denied that NATO airspace was used to attack Russia; then they argued the Ukrainian drones did not have permission to be in NATO airspace; now the Swedish Prime Minister argues NATO should help Ukraine direct their attacks in the "right direction" . These reckless people will trigger nuclear war.
