@HMRCcustomers I am getting an error when trying to submit my VAT return as cannot connect to HMRC. Your status page says ok, but it’s definitely not and software confirms it’s an HMRC issue.
Return is due today - can someone advise please?

@HMRCcustomers There are definitely issues - I have tried 2 different clients and both are returning Error 400 - when researched the error code, the website just says 'try later'. I am not the only one - several are saying the same thing - please re-check.

The networking issues have been resolved. The issue was caused by corrupted routing in our gateway firewalls. Re-writing the routing has resolved the issue.
