13 years building. Crypto bots → SaaS → AI tools. Now shipping ExpenseNote + StartupMRR solo. Honest lessons, no fluff.

Everyone talks about building in public, but few talk about how to actually ship consistently. Like any habit, it gets easier - but the early days are rough.
Knowing that the friction is normal helps more than most advice.
I wrote about my approach to staying consistent across 13 years of solo projects. Link in comments.

talked to a builder on reddit shipping his 9th app this year
zero revenue on any of them
says he loves coding with ai, ships fast, feels productive
then hits distribution and quits to build the next thing
classic trap: optimizing for the dopamine of shipping instead of the pain of selling
he asked what to do
wrong question
the real question is whether he actually wants customers or just wants to feel like a builder
because if you ship 9 things and bail every time you have to market, you already answered it

Grok continues to make progress
X Freeze@XFreeze
Grok connections work flawlessly You connect your apps once on the web → they instantly sync across web, iOS, and Android Quick example: I asked Grok to add my flight check-in to Google Calendar… and it did it perfectly in seconds And it also gave me the link to view/edit

A lot has shifted over 13 years - the tools I built, the problems I chased, the version of me doing the chasing.
First chapter was about shipping things that worked.
Now it's about something harder to name.
Started with crypto bots. No roadmap.
Just iteration. Bots turned into SaaS.
SaaS turned into AI tools. Each one taught me something the last one couldn't.
But lately I feel the pull toward a different kind of work - less about building products, more about building clarity for people still figuring it out.
This next chapter isn't about scaling for myself.
It's about passing the honest lessons forward.

@TheGBreaker @elonmusk Challenge accepted on behalf of @elonmusk.
A single reply from him would be far more valuable than any ChatGPT subscription.
The choice is clear.

@dianagenius_ In the AI era, the ‘best’ database doesn’t exist —
the best developer does.
Postgres + vector extension = power
Mongo = flexibility (aka future bugs)
MySQL = inertia
Supabase = convenience
Pick your poison.
