It has never been explicitly shown to be a continuous beam directed towards Sukuna, by Hana or Yuta. It always stops short because it is an extension of Hana’s technique.

Unironically if Yuta and Yuji decided instead of freeing megumi to just kill Sukuna right then and there they probably just win.

Yuta’s is different even outside of this context because he uses other’s CTs as the sure-hit effect. JL itself cannot be activated continuously.

It is literally impossible to spam JL against Sukuna otherwise Yuta would’ve kept doing it.
