I still don't get how they measure productivity of the modern business workers? When it's a production line it's easy to measure the output. When you work as an office or information worker - what's the productivity measure? Number of meetings per day? :) fortune.com/2023/11/14/rem…

@tevedya Correct. And best measurement of this productivity is amount of revenue he brings to the company. If my employee brings per year more money than I pay him - I don’t care when, from where and how he works.

Victor Noir’s grave in Père - Lachaise cemetery by Patrick Magaud, 1984. Noir is perhaps more famous for his death and grave than work. He was a journalist who was shot dead; the grave consists of a full-sized bronze statue of the man lying down as if he had just been shot. The statue became a fertility symbol - the story says those who kiss the statue on the lips, leave a flower in Victor’s hat, and rub the genital area will find themselves with enhanced fertility, a great sex life, or a husband within one year. The lips and trousers' bulge on the grave are noticeably shiny from people kissing and rubbing them. In 2004, a fence was built around the grave to prevent women from touching the statue but after many protests it was taken down.

Сегодня странное явление природы, откуда то пришёл туман на пляж, и все как ёжики в тумане. Ещё и жарко, и вода тёплая, и многие взяли выходные перед каникулами, и вот у зоны купания такая суматоха. Остальная то часть пляжа пустая, как всегда, все около спасателей...

Атмосфера потрясающая: духота, туман, тёплющая вода, как здорово, не передать... и туман не мешает, и волны поднялись, хорошо в общем...)
