🚨🚨🚨 Calling all medical students interested in Texas Emergency Medicine residency programs 🚨🚨🚨 TCEP MSC's "Meet the Program" series is kicking off for this application cycle, come hear from members of these incredible residency programs! Sign-up link is in bio!

The final introduction is Zane Cooke, our Social Media Chair and a Dell Med MS2. For Zane, the concept of “doctor” has long meant someone able to help right there, right then, whenever a medical problem arises, and the training and skillset of EM physicians aligns perfectly.

Today’s superstar is Abbey Pastorelle, a TCOM MS3 and our Student Representative to the TCEP Board! Originally from Dallas, she is excited by the people, both patients and staff, in the Emergency Department and its collaborative goal: to take care of our patients and each other.

Kade Ancell, a TTUHSC second-year student, is this year’s Simulation Chair for TCEP MSC. Kade is drawn to EM because of its unique position as a specialty that deals with the "undifferentiated" patient, and his goal is to create more TCEP MSC simulation opportunities this year.

Today’s MSC Leadership reveal is our Advocacy Chair, TCU MS3 Jack Healy! Jack is drawn to EM by his love of the diverse patients, varied pathology, creative thinking and problem-solving, and the opportunity to help patients who are often excluded from care outside of the ED.

Next in the lineup, our Project Coordinator is Angela Waguespack, an MS3 at UTMB! “The idea of treating anyone, anywhere, at any time of day excites me. No matter what kind of patient comes through the door, they will receive the BEST possible care I can provide for them.” - AW
