Moments ago, Valar Atomics took Ward 250 critical for the first time. This fulfills President Trump’s EO 14301, which called for 3 advanced reactors to go critical by July 4th. This is our second criticality as a company, and an important step toward our goal of power by July 4.

Burgums commentary is a bit funny because the way the mining industry works is that everyone leaves during the bust years and goes to different industries.
Go look at graduating classes from CSM/WVU/VT mining programs from ~10 years ago and I'd be shocked if even half of them are still working in mining.

Half the U.S. mining workforce is retiring in the 2020s. No better degrees to go after now than mining engineering, metallurgy, and geology.
China graduated 4000 mining engineers last year btw.

This is a funny meme and all, but you would honestly be better served by assuming that every single resource is infinite and we’ll never run out, but there will be price gradations set by some f(demand, abundance, oxygen affinity)
