Remember I was worried about the fate of the Start-rite sign outside the old Pares shoe shop in Blackheath? Well, I contacted Morley College who own the building, they said we could take it & @tfgillmor & I rescued it this morning. Will now live @Mary_Evans Hoorah!

Have long-term loaned our former front room rug to work for our new ‘lounge’ area. It’s very much a Mary Evans picture library style lounge area, obviously.
