So you knock LSU for not having the QB and RB that Ole Miss has BUT you don't knock Ole Miss for an entirely new offensive staff?? That's crazy. Charlie Weis called plays in the playoffs, did we forget this?? Yes, Chambliss and Lacy are absolutely dynamic and great BUT play calling matters!! Even if the cap is maxed out, LSU and its boosters can give both the players a pretty hefty nil deal (since there is no cap on nil) and then tell the players to pay their buyouts since the lawsuit is on the players and not LSU. You dumbasses really think LSU didn’t think about this before they decided to act? Jesus Christ use your brain, or what’s left of it at least.

Here’s what nobody is talking about. The money LSU owes Ole Miss has to come from their revenue sharing fund. Look it up. The NCAA football revenue-sharing cap for the 2026–27 season is approximately $21.3 million per school. LSU has most likely capped that out already. So in order to pay that money back to Ole Miss, they’re going to have to take it back from some player(s) to pay it. There’s a good chance they really screwed up here and literally don’t have the money to pay it. Rest assured Ole Miss is going to get that money one way or another (word on the street is Ole Miss produces some very good attorneys), but this is a really bad look for LSU and their money management people.

I have a question for non lsu/ole miss fans. Who do yall think is in the wrong? OM for suing their former players for the buyouts of the contracts they signed and breached? Or LSU for not voluntarily paying those buyouts after persuading said players to breach those contracts?

Tough look for LSU. Asking a player to leave the school they just signed a legally binding rev-share deal with, then expecting them to absorb the buyout themselves, isn't a great recruiting message.

Another thing I realized yesterday about Ole miss fans is that their personal awareness is shit . I never knew ole miss fans existed until Lane Kiffin became our coach and they started bothering all of us daily . They haven’t “owned me” not once on here they’re just genuinely stupid boring people that don’t get my juices flowing .
