Learning outside the Classroom (LOTC) is an integral part of our students timetable. A trip to the Lobster Hatchery to learn about local marine life and to explore what is being done to protect them. A great way for a kinaesthetic learner to spend her day!

It’s official! Staff and students at Mount Tamar School celebrate joining Transforming Futures Trust. Newly appointed Mount Tamar headteacher Matt Bindon has taken over leadership for the school and is already implementing his plans to work with staff to improve provision.
Bodmin pupils were recently lucky enough in science to explore a pig’s heart, lungs and liver. All of the organs were connected, and we were even able to blow up the lungs using a straw.
