@tgdeceiver Oh yeah CAHSR has been horribly mismanaged and they really fucked up by lowballing the funding they’d need in 2008, and I do agree that CA should get some shit for it. My issue is that the right wing objection to the project basically never overlap with CAHSR’s real problems.

It’s so tiresome how conservatives pretend to not understand why painting over a name or taking down a statue is easier and cheaper than building the country’s first true high speed rail line from scratch. Of course it’s going to take decades to build something like this!
