One of the biggest mistakes I see in recruiting... 👇 Young players acting like certain opportunities are "beneath" them. A chance to play college baseball...at the NCAA Division I, II, III, JUCO, or NAIA level - is something very few people ever get. Someone believes in you. Someone is willing to invest time, money, coaching, and a roster spot in your future. That's not something to take for granted. That's something to be humbled by. Be grateful. Keep developing. Keep earning. The logo on the jersey doesn't determine how far you'll go. Your work ethic, development, and performance does. ⚾️

Don't be afraid of failure. Baseball has a way of exposing everyone. The game will humble you, chew you up, spit you out, and make you question yourself. But here's what I've learned after 11 years in professional baseball and 12 more with Prep Baseball.. Failure isn't what ends careers. Fear of failure does. Take the swing. Throw the pitch.
