I’m at the point where I desperately need a haircut but don’t feel like I can until the club season is over. I’m not superstitious, but I am a little stitious.

@DeepLookPod How far back do you have to go before the 2023 college champs (both divisions) beat a club champ? Two scenarios: 1. Hypothetically at their prime (is this possible?) 2. At their current age (ie club champs from ~2000 would be in their 40’s-50’s now).

@being_ulti @markfed07 hard bc gym grades are generally softer (or outdoor are harder) or bc crashpads aren’t as soft as gym mats, or bc landings are almost always sketchier or a combo? Also please share any funny youth/camper stories!

@markfed07 Outdoor preferences… 1. sport 2. trad 3. top rope 4. bouldering I definitely like all of them pretty equal. Sport is definitely my absolute favourite, followed by the rest. Bouldering is just so hard outside

@dustweetr @being_ulti all hail the F handler! I think if I played 4 back now a la Doe 2017, I’d be better at it because I’ve got more experience & understanding of space on a frisbee field.

@being_ulti 3rd: More players don't hang out behind the disc b/c one of the first/top things they learn about offense is "STOP HANGING OUT BEHIND THE DISC." Which means they don't do it. Which means when they do hang out back there and the opponent poaches? They do not know how to attack.

Traditional incuts are the highest risk lowest reward passes in ultimate. Max impact velocity on catch, hard for rec to adjust to lateral misses, defender is accelerating, new thrower vision&options are limited. Of course they are valuable...but they are also the least valuable

@being_ulti this is a hill I will die on. Chocolate chip cookies are the GOAT dessert for this reason (deliciousness per unit of effort)

I primarily like to make cookies/brownies/loaf cakes/ and other “low maintenance” desserts. I’m not big into decorating as long as something tastes good. And although it’s boring, I believe that it is really quite hard to beat a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie.
