The late Moses Tshake (55)🕊️🕊️ was a chief auditor for the Free State Department of Agriculture and Rural Development who became a prominent whistleblower . Tshake was kidnapped and brutally assaulted in a hijacking on the 22 February 2013. He was reportedly tortured with some reports suggesting he was towed behind his own car and spent three months in a Bloemfontein hospital before succumbing to his injuries on the 11 May 2013. He is best known for investigating high profile corruption cases, most notably the controversial Vrede Dairy Project (linked to the Gupta family) and the Gariep Fish Hatchery project. Despite his death occurring over a decade ago, there have been no arrests, and the investigation has largely stalled leading to public outcry and claims of a “culture of fear”within the provincial government.

This is Zuko Radebe. His identity was stolen by a foreign national, and Home Affairs wrongly certified him as deceased for years. Because of this, he has been unable to get employment, and he is currently suffering with no shelter to sleep in. He reported the matter to SAPS, but received no assistance. Please share this widely, maybe someone on your timeline knows how to help or can connect him to the right people at Home Affairs, SAPS, or a support organisation. Let’s help one of our own get his life back. 🙏 #HelpZukoRadebe
