Serena was a smidge faster at their respective peaks, but only bc I don’t think any player has/had a quicker or more explosive first step. That said, saying Venus wasn’t as fast as Serena isn’t necessarily a bad thing…unless they’re saying that she was MUCH slower lol.

The show is on SABC 1, it was bound to happen. The channel gets most of its viewership from Nguni (KZN & E.C) regions. SABC 2 and 3 exist as a way of the public broadcaster addressing the obvious differences in population numbers amongst South-African languages/clans.
