I had my appraisal with my employer yesterday after 3 months of working with the company. She said I am punctual to meetings, I do my tasks efficiently, I respond speedily and I over communicate.😂 The only problem she has with me is that I am able to manage the people who got into the company via my recommendation but she sees I still struggle to manage the people I met in the company. I acknowledged her concerns and I explained why it was so. I already made a promise and shared how I'll manage them without feeling awkward about it. It was a good appraisal if you ask me. To the next 9 months.🥂

Built an AI email assistant that pulls customer details from a database, writes emails, and sends them automatically through Gmail. No switching tabs. No manual follow-ups. No digging through customer lists. For businesses, the real issue is not just replying to emails. It’s missing them, delaying them, or forgetting to follow up when things get busy. That’s where this helps. It keeps responses consistent and reduces the chance of leads or customer messages slipping through the cracks. Compared to a human assistant, it doesn’t get overwhelmed, doesn’t forget tasks, and can handle volume without extra cost per email. It’s not replacing people. It’s removing repetitive email handling so teams can focus on actual work.

Happy new week ✨ A lot of businesses don’t actually have a workload problem. They have a visibility problem. When there’s no clear system, everything starts feeling important at the same time. Messages get buried. Tasks depend on memory. Updates live inside WhatsApp chats. The team keeps asking the same questions because the process only exists in someone’s head. And slowly, operations become reactive instead of intentional. One thing I’ve been learning while building workflows and automation systems is that good systems do more than save time. They create clarity. Clarity on what needs attention. Clarity on what’s delayed. Clarity on who is responsible for what. Clarity on what can be automated instead of manually repeated every single day like humans enjoy suffering recreationally. As businesses grow, complexity grows with them. The systems that worked at one stage eventually stop supporting the next. This week is a good time to pause and ask: Is your current workflow helping your business move faster, or is it quietly creating friction behind the scenes? Start the week well ✨

Anyone experienced this issue on @udemy ? I’m doing an n8n roleplay exercise. The session loads and the timer starts, but there’s no voice response at all. Also noticed the AI avatar looks blurry, like it didn’t fully load properly. I’ve already checked mic permissions and refreshed the page. Any fix for this?

Dear @wemabank, I opened your 'Revised Regulatory Framework For BVN Operations' email expecting professionalism from a tier-1 bank and got greeted with 'Dear [FIRST_NAME],' 💀 This is a CBN-directive email. Compliance. Regulatory. Serious business. And nobody on your team thought to QA before blasting it to thousands of customers? Sack that employee immediately and hire me. I'll proofread, test the merge tags, send a dummy email to myself first, AND make sure 'Dear [FIRST_NAME]' never sees the light of day again. My rate is negotiable.

Built a simple customer inquiry workflow today with n8n. Nothing special. A contact form collects customer Inquiry or Complaints, stores everything in Google Sheets, then automatically sends a confirmation email back to the customer instantly. Small workflow but useful in real business situations because nobody wants to manually copy form responses around all day. Flow: Contact Form → Google Sheets → Auto Response Email One thing I like about automation is reducing repetitive work without overcomplicating the process. Currently spending more time building workflows and improving how I structure automations.

Stop wasting money on Zapier when n8n can do 10x more for a fraction of the cost.. you only need $5/month for a VPS setup..

@thankgoddavid_ @elewachii If it’s just for personal automation, a small VPS (1–2GB RAM) from a provider like InterServer or RackNerd should be more than enough and won’t cost much. Keep it simple and choose a location close to you or just use a CDN for better speed 🕊️

So I need y'all's advice before tomorrow. I asked them what the person had done so far,so I understand what I'm coming to continue. What followed was a link to schedule a meeting. I had already accepted the meeting invite before I checked my email and realised the meeting is 1 hour long. That's too much time to give AGAIN and have my time wasted. Last time,I had a 1 hour meeting with them before they ghosted. Now,I don't want history to repeat itself, especially knowing that they could use any information I give them just like the last time and hire someone. I want to cancel the meeting or ghost them too. Walai,I'm unsure. Probably it pans out well or not but I feel I can use that 1 hour to do something productive for myself than hop on a meeting that might not yield results. You people should advise me before tomorrow.

I got an invite for a job on upwork in November, last year. They asked me to prepare a quote for the job. I did and capped it at $1500 for the 2 phases. They ghosted me and sent a message today that they took the quote I gave them, gave it to another person who has done phase 1 and part of phase 2 and now they want me to complete what the person has done. I probed to know who the developer was because I'm wondering why they didn't have the person finish the job. Realised that she charged $2,200 for doing just part of the job.😂 I feel like a joke to myself. Me thinking they ghosted because the price was on the high side. Alas, they took another person who is more expensive. This person did their job as her second job on upwork and she doesn't remotely have something similar to what they wanted as a portfolio. I'm just trying to understand alot of things.😅 I just dey laugh myself since I see am. I won't do that job if they don't pay me what I negotiate sha. They should look for someone else if they wouldn't pay me what I negotiate for.
