Oki this is gonna sound schizo but... In World the weapon moves slightly separately from the hunter's body, it wiggles and shakes with the hunter's motion and it looks neat :P Wilds does this too but it's so subtle it might as well not be there. What was the question again?

@MVolge4977 @KingSavageAxe The hunter’s animations are the most noticeable thing for me, in World hunters move very stiff and janky, but in Wilds it’s smooth and there are animations for almost everything that it's simply satisfying to look

I still remember during peak Rise days when people were saying World aged badly and that the "realistic" graphics just looked bad these days
It's nice that opinion never really took off because it is a really good looking game even after Wilds one upped it

We all obviously want Elder Dragons to live up to their in lore fantasy more right?
But like... I feel like World Kushala actually almost lives up to it, especially in the final zone when he's close to death.

@thanksdp haha nah those are the same quality for now (seeing the files they updated). It's nice that now the HD pack works for "everyone", but... the 4K one worked for me too. And now it looks different, no clear difference with High :(

Let's make a mod to restore all the HD textures to all their glory. This "optimization" is unacceptable. If you have the hardware to run them, keep them, do not lower their resolution just because the average PC doesn't have enough VRAM. Give us more options instead!

@thanksdp Unfortunately not, they deliberately reduced the resolution of all the big textures in the pak file. They cut 48 GiB of data from it. To give an example:
High: 1024 x 2048 pixels
HD pack before: 2048 x 4096 pixels
HD pack now: 2048 x 2048 pixels
It's noticeable at 1440p
