Sure, the character who spent most of her run pushing people away, gleefully taunting her enemies, being a complete arsehole to the only companion she had left, becoming so single-minded and obsessive that she literally doesn't notice the universe ending is a "sanitized doll".

@eveofthedaleks Not writing her as a sanitized doll would be a good start. They were terrified of giving her any edges whatsoever so she became a boring, sanded down nothing. I felt embarrassed for Jodie. She's capable of so much more.

I think you may have missed something. Just, you know, the entire first same-sex Doctor/companion love story. I dunno, I kinda think that might be sliiiiightly more important to queer rep on the show than a bunch of gay jokes and innuendos.

BREAKING: Israeli settlers stormed the Christian village of Taybeh, entered the village quarry, erected a tent, raised an Israeli flag, and declared they would not leave, claiming the land belongs to them. They also prevented workers from entering the quarry and carrying out their work. - Palestinians who resist (their legal right) are executed by hanging
- only applies to Palestinians and not settler "terrorists" who continue to murder with impunity as they illegally steal homes
