While standing next to the blessed Rawdha of our beloved Prophet ﷺ, I suddenly remembered the video I saw of an elderly grandfather in Gaza who was addressing several deceased children and grandchildren of his, as they lay in their coffins: “Inform the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that the Umma has abandoned Gaza.” Ya Allah. This still sends shivers down my spine. Truly, the Ummah has abandoned Gaza.
