also there are so many nice lake parks to walk.

This is literally because of Mughal invasions where they would come and kidnap/rape the Hindu bride and steal the gold. So our people would do the wedding in the middle of the night in a hushed manner while the world was asleep. This is also why the men carry swords - to fight if the situation arose.
