Alright, time to chat bees finally. These lovely bees are Centris cockerelli, a female (orange face) and a male (yellow face). Photos are credited to Bruce Taubert! You can see the male's eyes take up more space on his head, and that the female has much bigger 'jaws' (mandibles)
