Zero Trust is not just a trend, it’s the combination of decades of evolution in IT security. Have you ever applied zero trust in your network?

As a beginner in cybersecurity, Don’t jump straight into: 1. hacking, 2. installing tools you don’t understand, 3. playing CTFs, etc Save yourself time and stress Stick to the basics. Build strong foundations first. Then build your house. Here should be your learning path:👇🏼 CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, and Security+. Anything else is a distraction.

@IamTheCyberChef Most beginners are just in a race to be the first to announce their achievements. But then, you ask them to walk you through what they did to get to that achievement,,, hmmm I rest my case

@Zekeriyanu82185 @geladiogo @IamTheCyberChef You can always write stuff down or use google docs, notion, etc.. then if you’re opportuned to engage in a lab work on platforms like @tryhackme, etc.. you can take screenshots and document on GitHub or post on socials if you’re building in public

This year, Anthropic released a report on AI models’ cyber capabilities, that blew our minds! They said Claude models could now succeed at multistage attacks on networks with dozens of hosts using only standard, open-source tools, instead of the custom tools needed by previous generations. In today's episode of AI Cyber Podcast, Confidence Staveley discusses with Dr. Brian S., the Carnegie Mellon PhD graduate who helped Anthropic prove that AI can autonomously replicate real-world breaches. We discussed why the problem was never the model, why defenders are falling behind, and what the next 1 to 3 years will look like for security teams. The full chat is live on @aicybermagazine's YouTube channel. Comment "Brian" and I'll send you the link to watch the episode.

Most AI monitoring solutions are a black box, and that's a big problem. Before deploying any monitoring solution for your AI interactions, demand transparency about how it works, and verify that you can tune your own detection; because the AI threat landscape is evolving too fast for rigid tools to keep up. Comment "Thomas" and I'll send you the link to the full chat with Thomas Roccia (@fr0gger_) on @aicybermagazine's AI Cyber Podcast.

😂 The last Audit I went for has to be the most hilarious I asked: “as the IT manager, how do you even keep your server safe and secure” IT Manager: We turn on the AC to keep it cool and I sometimes come weekend to check” I just knew my report was going to contain detailed CAPA while privately discussing with the EM to either hire someone who knows IT or send him for a proper training. 😂 baba jus dey flex IT name with 1980 IT ideas.

So if you buy a new laptop and mistakenly uninstall the browser that comes with it, how would you download the browser back since you don’t have a browser to install the browser?🤔🤔
