Studio visit of Oluwanifemi the Tall Artist, as he prepares for his debut solo exhibition presented by Project X. Oluwanifemi the Tall Artist (@thetall_artist) is a visual artist, photographer and storyteller working across photography and acrylic paintings. His works has been exhibited at NFTNYC New York, Objkt.com first physical exhibition in Africa and he has received art prizes from prestigious bodies like Solana Foundation and Bonk Art Masters. My show is an exhibition of art and film 🤍 I always say Art is more than drawings and paintings. I love exploring so much, I create Augmented reality paintings, I produce bodyart photography and even dabble into content creation Now, I made my first film 🤍 Come June 7 at the Flesh, Memory and Pink exhibition live at the New Culture Studios, Ibadan, we’ll be premiering this short film. I don’t know where to start, this still feels unreal to me 🙂 I am proud to announce to you all, “Flesh, Memory and Pink” my first solo exhibition presented by Project X 🤍 For so long, I thought about this in my head. How can I bring this to life ? This body of work is so special to me and I’m glad I get to share this experience with you. I worked so hard to make this a reality and I’m glad I get to do it my way. Big thank you to the amazing people at @bonk_inu @exchgART for their support, wouldn’t be here without them. Shoutout to @jairo_ema25 and @JTLissPhotoArt, appreciate yall being there for me. Another thank you to @NewCultureStu for believing in the vision and coming onboard this journey with me. The team at Sooseed has been nothing but supportive since the planning of this event And to my family Project X, what started as a gathering of creatives showcasing their crafts at Obafemi Awolowo University has transformed into something I never imagined when we started. There is no other team I trust to bring this vision to life than you.
