【TWITTER ALGORITHM - GROK UPDATE】 It is time. The algorithm was changed to be controlled by Grok AI. This was a unexpected change. Even if it was noticed a while ago, most people wasn't expecting for this big change. There are a few points I will mentionn here, but it is not 100% accurate, since it is just things that I read and that I noticed. 1- Everyone's score was reseted. This is why your engagement fell down. You will notice that your usual reach will be very little, even if you have a big account; 2- Even the label "following" had some changes. You can turn it to chronological order as it was before, but as standard, now every post will be scored, showing the ones that are performing better instead of the most recent ones, as it was before; 3- Posts now shall be boosted by its quality, and not only by their engagement. That means informative posts will be boosted more than "micro-blog" posts; 4- Grok is using live data of X, which means that trending topics will receive immediatly boost in recommendations. Quotes on trending posts may now be more important and have a higher reach. Pay attention to posts that are trending and quickly quote them, adding more relevant information; 5- "For you" label is being pushed more than ever. Even if you want to open the app only on "following" page, X will force it to open on "For You" page, making you notice more trending posts than posts from your followers. 6- Grok will recommend what the user wants to see. This is why smaller accounts should grow faster, giving them opportunity they wanted. That means, for example: if you are a artists, you will get more noticed by users who likes to see arts. My suggestion here: if you are a content creator, make strong posts that are really under your niche. Post videos or pictures that makes sense for people that consumes Vtuber. You will now have to treat more profissionaly. Now it is time to *really* avoid turning Twitter into a blog and more into a professional business account. 7- If you are making informative content, show some context of where you are taking your informations: videos, images, links. On this post, I used two images to test this hypothesis (and also share some context of where I did get all those informations). This is all I know about Grok changes.
