@demaballs Genuinely slightly opposite to my issues lol when i was a kid i wanted sleeker armor for my bishonen-leaning melee male hunter but cant because theyre either fem exclusive or gunner exclusive. Wilds mix and matching has been great 🙌

i started MH when i was 9 i used to play all female hunters and i rmb being upset that i couldn’t get some of the male armor cause i wanted to be huge and bulky and helmeted, cue me playing male hunters all the way up till wilds and im finally a huge woman

Can't help thinking that "dont worry final product is 100% human" is potentially a tell for devs who think of artists as glorified renderers, just there at the very last step so the final assets gets stamped as "human made". And i was really rooting for Owlcat, too.

@JesnCin I'm chindo and have never lived anywhere else but i can empathize with how hard it is to feel like you have to ask for permission to represent yourself culturally. Are we sourceland enough to represent our asian roots? Are we american/indo enough to represent our own country?

I disagree with the notion that wanting Asian American representation is rooted in some sort of desire for "imperial validation" where one should seek out sourceland art instead. It's fine for diaspora to yearn for something specific to who they are.
